Biography
He began painting in 1975, relying on his own abilities without formal training in art, and started his professional life as a prominent journalist at the Taif bureau of the newspaper Okaz. He has held a number of solo exhibitions, taken part in international events and received several awards. His practice now spans nearly half a century, over which he has come to be counted among the leading experimenters in Saudi art.
